High School Sweethearts
Eli and Bailey met in English II sophomore year by sitting across from each other. They became good friends by walking together from their History class (which they just so happened to have together as well) to their English class. Eli tried to make the first move, but the day he wanted to ask for her number she was sick. Eli didn't let this slow him down, he got her number and they began talking outside of school. Bailey and Eli decided they wanted to date while sitting in the treehouse at Eli's house on March 22, 2015 (Eli was 16 and Bailey was 15). When they were headed off to college they had to decide what their future held, since Eli was pursing a degree at Missouri S&T and Bailey at Missouri State University. They agreed to continue dating long distance and both believed their future was most definitely together. After Bailey found out she was accepted into the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Ozarks Technical Community College, they decided marriage was closer than they thought. In November of 2018, it was decided they were going to get married in December of 2019 from recent news on Bailey being able to continue schooling in Rolla. They decided to look at venues and at the first venue, on February 1st, 2019 Eli proposed.
